This past weekend, I spent several hours trying to figure out the Italian (or, as they call it, "tubular") cast-on that I had learned several years before at Ann Budd's workshop. It's a nice and stretchy cast-on that is perfect for socks and hats.
When I finally figured it out, I made several merino hats for our Hazel Village friends.What a fun October look!

I've always loved lawn cotton and the only thing that can make it even better, in my opinion, is when it comes in gorgeous Liberty of London prints.
I am so looking forward to sewing from this new stash that just arrived at my door.
